Now that Donald Trump has found his perfect vice presidential hopeful in Indiana Gov. Mike Pence to round out his perfect trifecta of hatred, he’s looking forward to a Republican National Convention where he can boast he’s successfully marginalized every single minority group.
Before the Pence announcement, the only group Trump had yet to fully throw under the bus was the LGBT community, but now that he’s added Pence to the ticket — problem solved! Pence, after all, is the guy who signed LGBT discrimination into law in Indiana.
In a phone interview with Free Wood Post, Trump told us how excited he is:
“You know, it was hard. Really, really hard to find just that perfect guy to make sure everyone but white heterosexual Christians felt marginalized, but I did it. I did it, because I’m great. Really, really great. The best, in fact. I don’t hate gay people, but you know who does? Mike Pence. He’s great. So great. I didn’t want any minorities to feel left out that my campaign didn’t hate them, so this will be a terrific addition. Now onward to the convention!”
Who’s to say if this will help or hurt Trump in the polls, but as history has taught us, the United States is filled with bigots, so who knows. We’ll just have to wait and see.
