After Republicans met for several hours in a closed-door meeting to discuss whether or not they would even entertain a nominee from President Obama for the Supreme Court, they gleefully emerged and descended upon the media with their decision.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) sauntered up to the microphone as only a turtle man can do, leaned forward, and said:
He then creepily smiled and stepped away refusing any follow-up questions from the press.
This is likely in response to most Americans demanding Republicans follow the Constitution and consider whoever President Obama selects. He’s displaying his true feelings for the American public, and it is actually almost refreshing to finally hear him say the words out loud instead of secretly hiding his true feelings in the legislation Republicans consistently put forward.
