President Santorum Reminisces About When He Won Iowa In 2012

It was four years ago, but Rick Santorum remembers it like it was yesterday. He stayed up late into the night and into the next day awaiting the results of the 2012 Republican Iowa Caucus. He had won. It was a miracle, really. No one expected it. Least of all, Santorum himself.

Now, from the White House, he sat down with Free Wood Post to let us know how it helped him on his path to become “President of the United States.”

“It was a game changer for sure. I knew from the moment I won Iowa that it was going to be a sure thing for me. Conservatives had spoken and I was their clear choice. Now when I look back I think about all those people who thought Iowa didn’t matter. That it was just a state filled with social conservatives, but as my predecessor President Huckabee told me, “Iowa seals the deal,” and he’s right. It looks like a sure thing for Ted Cruz this time around. Can’t wait to call him Mr. President.”

Let it be known the “White House” as aforementioned is just a random white house in the suburbs of Pennsylvania, and we’re pretty sure Santorum has lost his damn mind.
