Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky is no stranger to making sure he gets the job he wants even though he’s not qualified. He even went so far as to certify himself as an ophthalmologist when he couldn’t become certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He became the president of his own “National Board of Ophthalmology” that he operates himself.
Knowing he got away with it the first time he seems to think he can figure out a way to self-appoint himself President of the United States in 2016.
“It’s just a matter of taking the liberty to do what’s best for the country,” said Paul in an exclusive interview to Free Wood Post. “I’ll just show up to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and move in. I’ll tell the guards that I’m President of the United States because I said so. I don’t care if others don’t think I’m good enough or not qualified, hasn’t stopped me before! I’m gonna get my way. I always do. I’ll address the nation and tell all the citizens that I’m their new leader. I’m fully prepared to self-appoint myself like I’ve done before.”
Something tells us that Paul will likely not get away with appointing himself President of the United States, but we here at Free Wood Post would definitely find it amusing to watch him try.
