Mitt Romney: I’m Desperately Trying To Stay Relevant

If there’s one person who can’t quit the political limelight, it’s Willard Mitt Romney, and recently in a sit-down interview with Free Wood Post he revealed why he must appear in every election cycle.

“Well, to be honest, I’m doing it for my dad. I’m trying to finish what he started. I’m desperately trying to stay relevant. Coming around again every election cycle makes me feel important. As though people love me. I came so close last time. You saw it, didn’t you? So close. I had the nomination and young handsome fellow by my side as a running mate, but I still couldn’t quite pull it off. Those 47 percenters just really love themselves some Barack Obama. And who can compete with that? I mean really. I honestly don’t know if I’ll run in 2016, or 2020 for that matter, or even 2024… those are all ideas still being tossed around in the corner of my mind. Ann would really like me to stop, but I can’t. I need to be seen and heard and the most powerful and influential man on the planet. In the universe. Who knows? You’ll probably see me on the ballot again. Why not? I’m used to losing so it really makes no difference either way to me. Hillary would be an excellent person to lose to in 2016.”

Free Wood Post will keep you up to date as Mitt Romney makes up his mind.
