US Pastor Scott Lively: “Herd up all the gays, fence them into Detroit and set it on fire”

You may not recognize Pastor Scott Lively’s name now, but you soon will. He is the president of Abiding Truth Ministries and the Director of American Family Association. He’s also the man responsible for promoting the “Kill the Gays bill” in Uganda and the anti-gay propaganda laws in Russia.

He has made a career out of stirring up anti-gay feelings both in the US and around the world. He even co-authored a book “The Pink Swastika”, which suggests “homosexuals were the true inventors of Nazism and the guiding force behind many Nazi atrocities”.

For a man that seems to despise the systematic rounding up and slaughter of an entire segment of the population during WWII, his collaboration with the Ugandan parliament on the Kill the Gays bill seems rather odd.

In its first incarnation the bill called for the execution of any gay person. The bill that passed the parliament just four weeks ago is somewhat more lenient. It only calls for life in prison for LGBT people and prison terms for anyone failing to report homosexual activity, doctors who treat gays, landlords that rent property to gays etc. Gays and friends of gays are being hunted down on the streets.

Sounds a lot like Nazi Germany doesn’t it? Turn in your neighbors or go to jail.
So it shouldn’t be any surprise that when a US Federal Judge announced that Pastor Lively will go on trial for “Crimes Against Humanity”, that the good Pastors reaction was less than Christian.

“This is all the doing of the evil gays. They are filled with Satan, attacking an innocent man. The fact that this could happen on US soil is just more proof of their evil agenda. We should just herd up all the gays, fence them into Detroit and set it on fire”.

According to Pastor Lively would should all be living our lives according to his good moral example.
