Mitt Romney: “If I were president I would’ve funded the government with my offshore bank accounts”

It seems former presidential candidate, Mitt Romney, has come out saying if he had been president there would’ve been no government shutdown. In fact, he would’ve offered to fund the government with his own cash.

Free Wood Post caught up with Mitt Romney at his New Hampshire estate:

“It’s really this simple, you see. There would’ve been no government shutdown had I been president. Sure there may have still been tensions, but when it came down to it the government was never going to go without money. If I were president I would’ve funded the government with my offshore bank accounts to keep necessary programs going as well as national parks, monuments, and museums open. This is what you get for not electing me.”

Free Wood Post was shocked to find out how much money Mitt Romney was stashing overseas tax-free and away from the government, and even more shocked he would claim he would give some if not all of it to keep open the government he has been dodging for years.

When asked if Romney would bring his money back home to be properly taxed to use to better fund the government he just laughed.
