Earlier today Iran’s new moderate leader appeared at the  UN’s annual General Assembly, where he delivered a highly anticipated speech. President Obama and the international community have taken notice of Dr. Hassan Rouhani’s departure from the hard-line and anti-Western views of his predecessor, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Rouhani seemed to think that America’s greatest foe is the Republican-controlled House.

“How can you be a mortal enemy when there’s so much competition in America’s Republican-Controlled House.said Dr. Rohani at the UN General Assembly.

The moderate leader of Iran also discussed his country’s suspected nuclear program, allaying American and Israeli fears by offering unique solutions.
