Conservatives Want To Make Koch Industries, Inc. TIME’s Person Of The Year

It is that time of year again when TIME magazine chooses their person of the year. They will often offer choices to their readers for the general public to vote for who it should be. This year conservatives nationwide are pulling for a person that is very influential within the Republican party, Koch Industries, Inc.

Koch Industries, Inc. is now eligible to become TIME’s person of the year since they are now considered a person thanks to the Citizens United decision made by the Supreme Court.

Koch Industries, Inc. is owned by the brothers, Charles and David Koch. The Koch family has for a long time been very active in political causes. They often have donated to their candidate of choice who will best suit their interests. Now, thanks to the Citizens United decision, their entire company can be considered a person and they can put as much money as they want into elections with no accountability thanks to the wonder of SuperPAC’s. There is no limit to their spending, and the Koch Brothers were said to have had a huge influence in the 2010 midterm elections bringing in a large amount of conservative victories, and can be expected to do so again for the upcoming 2012 elections.

Conservatives nationwide are beside themselves with joy knowing that they can now vote for Koch Industries, Inc. as TIME’s person of the year. The votes are tallying up, now we will just have to wait and see.
