Republicans Criticize Obama’s Proposals That Include Their Own Ideas

Last Thursday, while millions of Americans were sitting anxiously as they wondered if Green bay Packers’ Quarterback Aaron Rodgers would gesture to his waist in a call for a fictional belt, President Obama delivered an all-important speech to Congress on the issue of jobs and the economy. The bulks of Obama’s ideas included a number of Republican ideas and proposals, which has angered many Republicans.

Here are a collection of Republican reactions from Obama’s speech:

   “It never ceases to amaze me how unwilling this President is to hear the needs of ordinary Americans. I find it shameful that he’s offering a tax incentives to hire the unemployed. These people need jobs, Mr. President!”~House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH)

“I am shocked and appalled how this president wishes to give my constituents jobs and improved infrastructure with his proposed bridge plan. How will my constituents get to work, Mr. President? ?” ~ Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KT)  

” I am outraged at this president for wanting to  cut payroll taxes. Is China supposed to pay for this?” ~ Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL)  


” This President has to talk during the football game on my teevee makes me mad! Where’s his birth certificate, and how will he pay for the case of Mountain Dew I lost when I hurled it at my Teevee?” ~Bubba Joe Jim Joe, Tea party member
